IHB 3GS21B #2140 - Indiana Harbor Belt  Contributor's Pick!       
Ambling east with its string of coil cars is one of the new Indiana Harbor Belt genset locos built by NRE of Mt Vermon, IL and delivered in 2011. Trailing at the very end of the coil cars is IHB caboose #19 (in another album).

Christopher Smith General As info, the IHB gensets were built new. Although many of the NRE gensets were (are) rebuilt from old locomotives (usually retaining the old frame and everything below deck, discarding the rest), the IHB units were built from scratch. 1/23/2017 11:25:29 AM
