| When this photo was taken 15 of Amtrak's 23 P30CH units were at New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal. A few were in service on the SUNSET, but most were inactive; however, many of these would get a "new lease on life" when Amtrak introduced its version of the AUTO-TRAIN five months later. |
