Whats up with the cabs on these units? looks like they were routed through the car crusher before being put on. LOL I also wonder if that would qualify for a Snoot nose...

I was wondering the same thing, Chris. Also this GG20B has already been set up for remote control. It didn't take BNSF very long to do that.

Part of the original cabs were left on the BNSF GG20B's to house the electrical cabinet and remote equipment. These noses aren't quite snoots...they have the original GP7 short hoods intact. Also, Railpower delivered these as remote control equipped B-units to be solely operated by an RCO.
