New Orleans Public Belt S12 61 was the only NOPB Baldwin ever repainted in the red paint scheme introduced in 1971, and it was hardly ever used afterwards. Here it was at the railroad's engine terminal, about two and a half years before being sold to Cargill for use at their Terre Haute elevator in Reserve, Louisiana. (approximate date of photo) |
