| A CN local emerges from a long, narrow, curved gap between two warehouses as it approaches Garfield Ave. at Menasha, WI on 18 Jun. '17. They have just finished servicing Chemtrade (formerly General Chemical Corp.) east of Washington St. on Doty Island. The scene is framed by the former C&NW depot/yard office at left and the C&NW freight house at right. The station sign says Neenah but it is actually located in Menasha. The border between the Twin Cities is about 750 feet to the south (right). The depot/yard office and freight house were built by the C&NW in 1965. |
