Pullman ASH BELT         
Pullman heavyweight Plan #4174 8 section-6 roomette-1 single bedroom-1 double bedroom (8S-6RM-1SB-1DB) sleeper ASH BELT, rebuilt in November 1949 from the Plan #3958 14 section (14S) sleeper EDMUND CARTWRIGHT (Lot #6054, March 1927), retained by Pullman at the 12/31/1948 divestiture, rebuilt the next year and painted in a Dark Gray paint scheme, repainted to Frisco Red & Silver in February 1953, repainted to the Two-Tone Gray (TTG) seen here in June 1959, sold for scrap to Hyman-Michaels in May 1964. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide.
