Here is a photo from an article entitled "Now Playing: 'The Breaking Point.'" It was published originally in the June 1953 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 16. The photographer is not identified. Partial Caption: "Camera crew shoots scene at Richmond, Ind., for 'The Breaking Point'" ~ a film sponsored by the Pennsylvania Railroad demonstrating how Company employees should work to prevent accidents and loss-and-damage at freight stations. Partially visible here is PRR engine #9818, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in May of 1951, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in October of 1967 after just 16 years of revenue service. |
