CRYX 4071 'Egg Harbor' was one of a trio of CRYX reefers which were part of the consist of a CN through freight along Union St. while setting out and picking up cars at the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 3 Jan. '18. I presume the car might be named for the village or township in Door Co., WI. However, it may instead be named for the city or township in Atlantic Co., NJ. These mechanical reefers are rather rare where I chase trains, but I didn’t give them a second glance, until I noticed that they have unique, interesting names stenciled on their doors. |
