| The Arkansas & Missouri took over the Frisco 6th Sub from Monett South to Ft Smith, and got a short branch to Bentonville in the deal. The line was intact as far as the east edge of town til about a year ago, when they started taking up the track west of Dixieland Rd, where they serve the Glad Bag plant. Dont know how long the tracks have been gone from the station, but long enough that theres not much evidence left. The station, however, looks good. |
