On 300 kph / 190 mph a AVE service (Alta Velocidad EspaƱola, meaning "Spanish High Speed") coming uphill on the Madrid-Alicante line. The Class 100 trains were manufactured by Alstom/France (8 trains) and CAF/Spain (16) and are directly derived from the TGV Atlantique that runs in France.
