So I conclude that the roof hatches were no longer used, although there is a stencil stating: THIS CAR EQUIPPED WITH ROOF HATCHES and WHEN EMPTY RETURN TO MONON RR, BAINRIDGE, IND VIA REVERSE ROUTE . |
