PRR 3885, K-4S, 1953         
Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, on 4 October 1953. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #3885 and #3843. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" built in Juniata during 1923; #3885 was retired in March of 1954, but #3843 was retired in October of 1955. They are pulling the excursion train across the PRR's Cumberland Valley Railroad Bridge on their way back to Washington. Note the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad rolling stock. #8 of 14.
