| The dust is still flying as the rear trucks on BNSF 515 hit the ground after passing through a switch at Blakely GA. I had set up to get a photo of the 3 units on the train (NS 5420 still in Conrail paint, BNSF 515, and NS 5040) when I heard the unmistakable sound of rail wheels riding across ballast, busting up ties as it went. The engineer quickly stopped and no further damage was done. |
