Believe it or not, this is where train travellers from Pawtucket used to board New York, New Haven, and Hartford trains. The aging station building, over the tracks, was built between 1915-16 but has been closed since 1959. Its structural integrity is considered questionable, but still it sits, above the busiest passenger route in the United States. It probably will not be there much longer, but I would love to see it restored! |
