Here is a 1910 Alco-Schenectady built Pacific on a daily run. The back of the photo lists this as "Train #56", so good chance this might be Boston, MA. After being superheated by the BM shops, it was later renumbered 3606. Specs - serial #47821, class P-1, 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders. Harry A Frye photo |
