Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken in Orangeville, Maryland, c. 1953. Shown here is the front end of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9702, a BF-15A built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in May of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. It's flanked on the left by coal-burners and on the right by oil burners!
