Here is the eighth of eight original photos that were taken by an unidentified photographer at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, perhaps during 1957. Shown here is PRR engine #5825, a BH-50 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in May of 1947, originally rated at 3,000 HP for passenger service, downgraded to 2,500 HP for helper/pusher service, and retired in April of 1962.
