| Today my dad and I are going up to Northwest Indiana to do some railfanning in the region after we go to a model train show in Hobart, IN. Tomorrow we will go to the Great Midwest Train Show since we were unable to do so in October. The train show in Hobart was pretty nice! I got a N-Scale Chessie System GP9, unmotorized. Afterwards we began our railfanning in Northwest Indiana. Today we plan to go to Pine Jct for the first time. We have heard good things from other railfans around the surrounding areas so we hope to see lots of trains! First though we began our day in Hobart on the CFE. Luckily for us there was a train tied down for the weekend there! The area is under a Winter Storm Watch and there is probably about 6 inches of snow on the ground here now. |
