Lima 1944...see Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society website for a complete history. The water car is modified from an L&N M1 2-8-4 tender (Lima 1949), rebuild date unknown. The car was first used behind C&O 614 1980-1985, then purchased for use behind N&W 1218 1987-1991. It has also seen service behind SOU 4501, N&W 611, SLSF 1522 (while it operated on NS in 1994), and NKP 765. |
