Robert Anderson General Nice action shot. This appears to be the spot(with the privious diamond) in the 1959 film "It Happened to Jane" Doris Day,Jack Lemmom and Ernie Kovacs as pesident of the E&P RR. Near the end of the movie Eastern&Portland RR "old 97"(NH 3016) runs out of coal right here. The ariel shot shows 2 NH FL9s and an Alco blocked and after discussion the rear FL9 pushes the steamer. Maybe you are more familiar with the particulars. I saw the film when I was 9 for .25. It's still a hoot to watch. Amazed to see the tracks still around. Tou hhave nice coverage over the years. Thank you for sharing. 10/19/2018 10:03:10 PM
Robert Anderson General Oops..sorry about the typo's. Should proof read and not muti-task while typing. Meant to say your coverage over the years of the area is good. 10/19/2018 10:20:28 PM
