A CN local prepares to pick up 4 boxcars from the siding near the United Cooperative Feed Mill 660 E. Seward St., on former SOO rails at Shawano, WI on 10 Nov. '18. Train will then continue on to the Shawano Paper Mill. Between 2015-'17, almost all of the feed mill's buildings were razed and new, larger ones constructed during a nearly $7 million expansion project. The northern portion of this spur was laid where the SOO, originally W&N, depot stood from 1906 until the fall of 2013. |
