| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad depot at Naperville, Illinois on an unknown day in June 1981 Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This depot was built in 1910. As a teenager ( circa 1965 ) I hung around this station, both as a railfan and an employee of the local newspaper agency, retrieving newspaper supplements as they were delivered by the CB&Q. Behind me was a tavern, and unfortunately, I was a minor so I never saw the inside of the tavern, but I did witness folks arriving on the CB&Q would frequent the tavern on their way home, a club house from my teenage perspective. |
