Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Passenger Station in Mount Union, Pennsylvania, on 12 August 1960. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9856 and two more "EF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9856 is an EFP-15 constructed in June of 1952. They're "running light" through the Station on their way to the Enola Yards. |
