Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, on 26 June 1940. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2848, an H-8SB (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during November of 1910, rebuilt as an H-8SB in September of 1919, rebuilt as an H-9S in August of 1942, and retired in October of 1950 after 40 years of faithful service.
