Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 9 June 1945. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6807, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1926 and retired in January of 1957 after 31 years of service. The numbers of the other locomotives in the photo are not recorded. Raymond C. Laws Collection. |
