NYC E8A #4055 - New York Central Editors Pick!
Good looking action shot along an unidentified stretch of track. This E8A is sporting the lightning stripe paint scheme and possibly heading up the 20th Century Limited. No location, date or photogrpaher was listed for this photo but with Mike Woodruff's help (see comment below), the location has been identified as Westfield, MA. Thanks, Mike! The date is an approximation. Thanks to BandA Fan (see comment below), the tower has been identified as B&A #45. Thanks for the help!

Mike Woodruff General Gary, I'm fairly certain that we're at Westfield, MA on the Boston & Albany, and that the train is the westbound "New England States". Here's a postcard shot of Westfield to compare: http://explorewmass.blogspot.com/2007/02/westfield-massachusett-railway-station.html 5/19/2019 5:00:38 PM
