Looks like this 1918 Alco built USRA 2-8-2 "heavy Mikado" #309 is now facing the end, what with the missing bell, headlight and the main rod as well as the windows boarded up. Originally it was #8609 but renumbered after 1938. Specs - class L3, 63" drivers, 27 x 32" cylinders, 190 psi boiler pressure, engine weighed 325,000 pounds, 59,800 pounds of tractive effort. Ray W.
