| A CN local approaches Towmen Rd. as it prepares to transition from the former C&NW rails to the former SOO lails (in the foreground) at Shawano Junction, WI on 12 May '19. This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW main line through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout sas installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails. Train was headed back to Neenah after working Appleton, Little Chute, and Kaukauna. |
