Great action shot of the Baltimore & Ohio 2-10-2 Santa Fe type locomotive #6000 heading up a long coal drag with a steam helper seen in the far distance. Built by Baldwin in April of 1914, #6000 was the first of 31 built in the S class by Baldwin and had slightly different specs than the rest. #6000 Specs - serial #41309 S class, 58" diameter drivers, 30" x 32" cylinders, 190 psi boiler pressure, which resulted in 80,193 pounds of tractive effort and it only weighed 407,060 pounds.
