| Canadian National-Illinois Central Q-192 was heading south through Hammond, Louisiana with 87 cars of mixed freight and 12 of intermodal. Q-192 was previously IC IO-3 which had been a dedicated intermodal train between Chicago and New Orleans; but by this time most of its tonnage was mixed freight and there was very little intermodal traffic left on this route. Q-192 was powered by GTW SD40M-2 5949 and CN-IC SD40-2 6100, and the track on the left was the line to Baton Rouge. |
