The SNCF Class Z 24500/26500 double-decker EMU were built by Alstom between 2004–2005. The French railways distinguish between Z24500 class (2 or 3 passenger cars) and Z26500 class (4 or 5 passenger cars). The train is still in TER Rhône-Alpes color scheme. Since 2017 its regional rail network was merged with the region of Auvergne. It is operated by the French national railway company SNCF. |
