Shown here is Penn Central Railroad engine #9452, an S-1 switcher built by the American Locomotive Company for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "9101" in February of 1949, rated at 660 horsepower, and renumbered "9452" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
