IC 9568
A CN local traverses the west leg of the wye and passes the Main St. overpass as it heads northwest at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 6 Jun. '20. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St., used to be the yard. I don't know when the current, significantly larger yard (extending southwestward from Winneconne Ave.) was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard still here. In the background, beyond the north leg of the wye, lies Arrowhead Park, a closed paper sludge landfill. Before the landfill was opened in the '50s, the south shore of Little Lake Butte des Morts came right up to the north leg of the wye.
