| This photo shows most of a facility where grain is loaded into railroad cars. It's located in Lynn Center, IL, and I took this photo on 1-8-2012. A few cars were parked near this facilty, to the left, and there were several more to the right (north), behind me in this picture. I'm not sure what role or function the former containers had here but this would be an interesting, but perhaps difficult, industry to model: lots of action in a small space, with a siding, sloping road, level right of way, and so forth. This view looks basically southwest. |
