| Portraits 3. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Arthur B. Johnson that was taken near Fresh Pond, New York, on 17 April 1937. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1109, a B-8 (0-6-0) switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1903 and retired in March of 1948 after 45 years of faithful service. (#9 of 33) |
