Here is a photo by J.S. Rice that was taken at the 46th Street Enginehouse in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during December of 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3752, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during April of 1920 and retired in February of 1958 after 38 years of faithful service. Note that its main rods have been removed, so it's been prepared for movement to the recycling center. ("JpsPcc6992" A; #2 of 6) |
