BWCX. Here is a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was published in his book entitled "The Pennsy In The 1960's: The Final Decade," page 56. Photo Caption: "GS4 #9328 at Salem, N.J., summer 1964. It was one of 46 GE 44-ton switchers obtained for light switching assignments, especially in areas with tight curves." #9328 is a GS-4 built by General Electric in June of 1948, rated at 380 horsepower, and later sold to the Berwind-White Coal Mining Company for use at its Hollidaysburg Car Shops.. |
