| BWCX. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Berwind Corporation's Car Shops in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in the Summer of 1976. Shown here is their GS-4 diesel-electric engine that was purchased from the Pennsylvania Railroad during 1964. Originally numbered "9328," it was built by General Electric in June of 1948 and rated at 380 horsepower. It this context, it's on the active leg of the old wye, assisting in the offloading of wrecked TrailerTrain flatcars. |
