Mann. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide that was taken near the Passenger Station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5468, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927 and retired in August of 1948 after 21 years of faithful service. In this context, it's departing the Station with a passenger train bound for Altoona and points West. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. ("PrrFan18n") |
