Here is a steam locomotive portrait via D.W. Eldridge that was taken in East St. Louis, Illinois, on 18 September 1935. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6797, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in December of 1947, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service.
