| This is the last photo for this batch and it's one of the saddest, IMO. Madison Mine #1 is in transit, headed east, on the former C&O mainline in Huntington, WV in early 1980. I don't know this unit's final disposition. At any rate, when C&O was basically GE and EMD powered, a Baldwin, even as a guest, was something worth noticing! |
