Sadly, this Alco-Schenectady 4-6-0 ten wheeler built originally as KCFS&M #632 in October of 1905, now sits in the SLSF dead line at the Springfield, MO, yard awaiting the scrapper's torch. During its lifetime, it served the SLSF well, was superheated by the West Springfield Shops in October of 1926 and converted to coal burning in January of 1944.
