Here is the third of 32 color prints of calendar art works that were commissioned by the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1925 through 1958. Shown here is Grif Teller's painting entitled "When The Broadway Meets The Dawn." It was published originally in 1928. Depicted here is PRR engine #5415, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1927 and retired in May of 1948 after 21 years of faithful service. |
