Shown here is Grif Teller's painting entitled "Pittsburgh Promotes Progress." It was published originally in 1954. Depicted here (L to R) are PRR engine #5887 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5887 was constructed in April of 1950. |
