PRR 4616, I-1SA, 1956         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Philip R. Hastings that was taken near Locust Gap, Pennsylvania, on 14 September 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4616, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during October of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in February of 1937, and retired in August of 1959 after 36 years of faithful service.
