"Pennsylvania 5822," 1960         
Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania 5822." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "A pair of Baldwin Centipede diesels has a freight well in hand. Altoona, Penn., July 1960. These locomotives, class BH50, were originally built for passenger service, class BP60, 6,000 h.p. for a semi-permanently coupled pair. Photo by David R. Sweetland." #5822 was built in February of 1948 and retired in April of 1962 after just 14 years of service. Photo taken from the 8th Street Bridge in Juniata.
