Top Photo, Partial Caption: "A proud PRR K-4 Pacific accelerates the Norfolk-bound 'Del-Mar-Va Express' out of Wilmington for the Old Dominion State." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3733, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during February of 1920 and retired in April of 1956. Bottom Photo, Partial Caption: "A wide-firebox Consolidation [#1673] brings the Reading's local freight to the Sixth Avenue Yard limit."
