| Looking to the south east from the tracks we see the location known as Lock & Dam. The dam has been rebuilt over the years to maintain its integrity but with no need for steam boats to navigate the river the Lock was filled in a long time ago. This has long been one of my favorite places to photograph Adirondack trains, and has also become one of my favorite locations along the line period. |
