| A FV&LS (or FOXY) train parallels, and prepares to cross, S. Whitman Ave. as it returns to the former C&NW yard from the former SOO yard at Appleton Junction, WI, on 16 Apr. '22. It is great to see a former C&NW locomotive plying former C&NW rails. An old caboose is displayed to the left. It is painted as RI 17177. Some references claim it was not their caboose, but MILW. It is currently for sale. I wish I could afford to purchase it (the price is not listed, but, as the old saying goes, if you have to ask, you can't afford it). The W. College Ave. overpass is partially visible in the background. |
