Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, c. 1943. Shown here is Lehigh & New England engine #503, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Juniata as number "1719" during February of 1918, then sold to the LNE and renumbered "503" in October of 1941.
